Sebastian Vettel kept Ferrari on top of the Chinese GP timesheet as heavy rain arrived to saturate the Shanghai circuit for final practice on Saturday morning. However, despite the likelihood of the later qualifying hour also being disrupted by wet weather, Mercedes chose not to set any timed laps with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.Rain was heavily falling at the start of final practice and it was 15 minutes until cars were seen on track, with Williams the first team to dispatch theirs on the full wet tyre. Conditions slowly improved to the point where intermediates could be used - before the rain stopped completely - and Vettel went quickest with a lap of 1:57.351, which was seven tenths quicker than second-fastest man Valtteri Bottas. But in another potential reliability concern for Ferrari after issues in each of the first two races, Vettel reported a gearbox glitch during the course of his fastest lap. He made his way back to the pit lane and then sat out the remainder of the session. The Mercedes pair were among eight drivers who did not set a lap time, with Hamilton and Rosberg only entering track for exploratory laps on the full wet rubber in the early stages. With the timesheet largely irrelevant, Sergio Perez was third for Force India ahead of Toro Rossos Carlos Sainz and the Haas of Esteban Gutierrez.Britains Jolyon Palmer was sixth for Renault, but suffered a right-rear puncture with bodywork rubbing against the tyre thought to have caused the problem. The Enstone team had suffered a left-rear puncture on Kevin Magnussens car on Friday and made suspension changes as a result. When is Chinese GP on Sky? In the wake of recent revelations, following a Russian cyber espionage group making athlete drug testing information public, the question of what qualifies as an unfair advantage in sport has yet again surfaced.Rafael Nadal, who is known to have a strong view on the matter, asserted that sport should be clean and look clean. He said, Its terrible news. We cannot though believe an agency which is outside our anti-doping programme.Hackers, nicknamed Fancy Bears, leaked drug records which suggest that Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Simone Biles and a host of other athletes have been using Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) drugs. The WADA though was quick to confirm that the athletes had been granted TUEs by the concerned sports federation and national anti-doping organisations.TUE certificate allows an athlete to use an otherwise banned substance with the intennt of aiding a genuine medical condition.dddddddddddd The leaks raises doubts over the provision being more abused than used.Personally, I know how hard the controls are. We are obligated to inform every single day of the year where we are and set aside one hour of each day for anti-doping control, Nadal added.Tired of being accused of doping, Nadal had written to the International Tennis Federation president earlier this year, asking for all his drug-test results and blood profile records to be made public. All sportspersons who believe in the spirit of the game, want to compete against other clean sportspersons. I believe in the anti-doping programme 100 per cent. If people are not doing the right things, they dont deserve to be part of the world of sport, he said. ' ' '
